Many of us are taking a hiatus from traveling due to COVID-19. No one ever said staying home has to be boring though–let’s go to “Italy”!
It’s been 10 years since I visited Rome with my mom during a 24-hour layover. We packed a lot of sightseeing into that day, but there is still so much I’d like to know about Italian culture and food.
If I were to go back to Italy now, I’d love to go on a food tour of the country and explore the cuisines that each region has to offer. If that sounds right up your alley too, then keep an eye out for my Ultimate Italian-themed Staycation Bucketlist for Foodies, which I’ll launch in a few of days on July 1st. It will provide ideas for how you can branch out of your typical quarantine routine by learning how to make new recipes, how to incorporate authentic Italian ingredients into your dishes, and get into an Italian “Slow Food” state of mind.
Let’s get this adventure started!
Once the bucketlist is live, I am going to live it up as if I were in Italy, and I hope that you join me! I’ll be recapping how my experiences go with each bucketlist item, plus I have lots of Italian-inspired recipes coming your way. I’ll also be sharing Italian decorating tips for your tablescape, product reviews, and fun facts about Italy. Fake it till ya make it (to Italy), right?
Stay tuned!
